EP: RELEASE
Many of us find solitude and support in the music we listen to. It can
give us hope moving forward, knowing we’re not alone. The goal of this EP is to reflect
a journey through the stages of grief, in the order of Depression, Bargaining, Anger
and finally, Acceptance.
‘Lonely Don’t Bite’ portrays the initial depression we can fall into when we experience
trauma, and our subconscious tendency to push away from others, in order to try and
hide our pain.
‘Slow Down’ depicts the fall into unhealthy coping mechanisms such as drinking or
toxic relationships. All of which are attempts to disassociate from our pain and try find
release and validation in something external.
