“Enter The Dragon (Are You Up?) MV”

In a parallel world, a pink drug is so potent, it captivates anyone who tries it- it calls for them. Once they enter the world of the Dragon, it’s hard to exit.

The protagonist of the music video is a Hare, who finds himself unable to stop chasing the Dragon. He represents an addict fighting the urge to take another hit.

The Pink Dragon is tall, beautiful and mesmerizing. She the symbol of temptation, craving and addiction- she is the personification of drugs.

This music video is a mixture of rotoscoping and 2D hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation. The aim of this project was to make a visually appealing, heavily textured and grimy piece of experimental art, which focused on themes of drug use and the struggle to resist temptation.

I pushed my boundaries while working on this music video, it was a great experience that allowed me for a lot of experimentation within the animation medium. I am thrilled to share this work with the world.
