The prevalence of anxiety disorders has become a talking point in modern society. Despite this there is still a certain taboo surrounding anxiety and how we as a society approach and discuss it. Based on my experience most students have encountered some level of anxiety during their time at college. This may be experienced on a personal level or as a result of motivational upset.
My animation is an awareness campaign targeted at third level students. It seeks to highlight the different ways in which anxiety can affect all aspects of a person’s life. It aims to give the viewer an insight as to what it is like to suffer with anxiety or any invisible illness.
It will also seek to convey the importance of communication and discussion to a friend or professional. It is also an informative piece about the different supports and facilities available to you through your college structure.
