AKIN: Exhibition Fight

AKIN is a bi-annual design and photographic magazine that focuses on the connections between sports and uncovers the deep-rooted similarities that exist between them. The magazine is dedicated to showcasing the beauty and complexity of sports and the human form in motion.

The first issue of AKIN, Exhibition Fight, explores the often-overlooked elegance of boxing and presents it in a new light. The magazine breaks down stereotypes associated with the sport and showcases it through unpredictable designs that challenge common perceptions of boxing.

Exhibition Fight uses pink stock paper and delicate designs to emphasize the elegance of boxing, creating a soft and delicate backdrop that highlights the beauty and grace of the sport in a unique and memorable way. Further emphasizing the artistry of the sport, a bold typographic approach is used to showcase language associated with dance that also applies to boxing.
