Jokers Wild
Jokers Wild is an opening title sequence created to introduce the world’s most influential magicians to its captive audience. The magic community is explored throughout the sequence, introducing new tricks synonymous with each magical act.
Low poly geometric shapes are used to create each scene and also as the catalyst to transition and move through the titles. These shapes are manipulated and composed to carry the viewer from scene to scene.
The colour palette is a mix of the traditional colours worn by magician’s throughout the decades and also colours associated with the Joker character from both movies and comics.
The Joker plays a prominent role throughout this whole sequence. The Joker as a character is very unpredictable. Developed in the 1800’s the card was used as a trump card or used to replace missing cards. The Joker plays host introducing each act and spontaneously appearing in and out of scenes.
