A town called Misery
A Town called Misery is stealth action game developed for PC. The game is developed using the
unity engine using my specially made assets alongside quixel megascans to create a detailed
underground frontier town. While my area of focus is predominately 3D art, I wanted to create
a more ambitious title with the stealth and atmosphere of Thief alongside the survival shooter
mechanics of Farcry to create something more than a portfolio piece to look at but a game to
immerse oneself in. Taking inspiration from Thief, the core gameplay element is stealth, with
the option to engage in highly risky combat if one so chooses. This project took, from planning
to polish, about 7 months of work to get to this stage of development.
