Stone Rockets is the story of two worlds, a perspective of conflicting realities. One of war and one of peace.
This animation aims to showcase how a variety of everyday activities can differ as a result of a war. The presence of war, the effects, memories, and aftermath of war. The story will be shown from the perspective of kids who know no different.
Stone Rockets finds its place in the moments in between, away from the conflict and violence of a war zone. The subject matter dealt within this animated short is an ever-present reality for thousands of kids across the globe. I hope to shine a light on a different perspective of those, living throughout war-torn areas. This is a film from the eyes of those too young to notice the cracks, greed, and corruption that surrounds them in everyday society.
The style of this animation is a direct result of wanting to maintain an innocent and approachable short, suitable for all ages… A story about war without all the violence.
