Crow’s Creation (Trailer)
The Crow’s Creation trailer is a 2D animated short that gives a peek into a larger world and story in development. Crow’s Creation is a medieval-fantasy story with a classic good vs evil plotline. The story features a dynamic cast of feline characters, from a bubbly calico protagonist, to a nasty serval antagonist. I enjoyed bringing these characters to life for this project; It has allowed me to explore a variety of compositions, environments and moods in a short space of time.
I love designing and drawing creatures for animation and exploring different character expressions. Writing and developing stories like this have been a massive comfort to me over the years and they hold a special place in my heart.
This project was created using a mixture of Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, and Toon Boom Harmony, with compositing done in Adobe After Effects.
