The Count
The Count will be a unique art exhibition that explores the dynamic sport of boxing and its intrinsic relationship with time whilst also paying homage to Irish boxing. Through a diverse collection of artworks, this exhibition will display the temporal dimension within the boxing ring. From traditional mediums such as screenprinting to contemporary digital based installation. Each piece will offer a provoking perspective on the passage of time both within and outside of the ring.
The central theme of The Count revolves around the multifaceted relationship between boxing and time. Viewers are encouraged to interpret this theme in various ways, such as capturing the intensity of rounds and the deterioration of the boxer over time, or exploring the timeless allure of the sport itself.
