‘Living Life Like An Asshole’ MV
Acting as a short prequel to a personal comic project, ‘Living Life Like An Asshole’ is a rendition of the title track filtered through a lense of action movies, tv shows and comics that inspire my art.
The protagonist is an amalgamation of action movie hero tropes; living to kill and killing to live another day. Cool, calm and collected, they are stuck in a loop and are quite literally living life like an asshole. This aspect plays along to the track as a backstory can be formed by listening to the lyrics. The plot revolves around a briefcase and the protagonist’s regret in giving it away, while the remainder is open to the viewer’s interpretation.
The piece acts as an insight into the life of a twisted man, allowing the viewer to see what they see with a cinematic twist. Human beings become mere target practice dummies and firearms nothing more than a finger-gun pointed in their general direction. To us it is murder, to them, just another day.
