Rebrand for Limerick Cycling Campaign
Limerick Cycling Campaign is a voluntary organisation set up by cyclists, for cyclists. Their goal is to create a safe environment for people of all ages to connect and build healthy habits that also feed into reducing people’s negative input towards climate change.
The brief involved creating a new identity and branding which best reflected the organisation’s mission and goals. I have created a minimalist, abstract mark inspired by the wheels of the bike and their dynamic movement. The mark was paired up with a sans-serif typeface and a vibrant colour scheme which made the overall logo look very fresh and professional.
Stemming from the Limerick Cycling Campaign identity project, this brief involved creating a promotional campaign for the organisation to entice the public to get involved and support it. I decided to create an animation with elements of typography, photography and vector illustration. The final piece is available in two sizes, allowing for the promotion of Limerick Cycling Campaign across numerous social media platforms.
Targeting teenagers and young adults, the campaign highlights the positive effects of cycling on the body and mind, namely how cycling helps to release stress. This message is especially important now, as we live in a very fast-paced and stressful world.
